All calls handled by Jess are recorded and transcribed for the purpose of:
Call recordings are retained for a period of 90 days unless a longer retention period is required by law or requested by the clinic. Patients who call your clinic are notified of the recording at the start of the call.
Appointment details collected by Jess — including patient name, preferred date and time, and treatment type — are stored securely and shared with the respective dental clinic. This data may be synced to your Google Sheets or CRM system as configured during onboarding. We do not sell or share appointment data with any third party outside your clinic's designated systems.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (such as SMS gateways or cloud hosting providers) only to the extent necessary to deliver our service. All third-party providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
We take the security of your data seriously. Ask Jess uses industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit. Data at rest is stored on secured, access-controlled servers. Access to patient and clinic data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Ask Jess provides an AI-powered receptionist service for dental clinics, including inbound call handling, appointment booking, patient record creation, and CRM/Google Sheets integration. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Ask Jess complies with all applicable laws, including any regulations pertaining to patient data, call recording consent, and healthcare communications in your jurisdiction.
When you request a free demo or proof-of-concept (POC), you agree to:
Ask Jess reserves the right to decline a demo request at its sole discretion. Demo availability is subject to team capacity and geographic coverage.
Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' notice.
By using Ask Jess, you authorise us to collect, process, and store data as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have obtained all necessary consents from patients and staff for call recording and data processing. You remain the data controller for all patient data; Ask Jess acts as a data processor on your behalf.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ask Jess shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
We aim to maintain high availability of the Ask Jess service but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers, force majeure events, or factors outside our reasonable control.
Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice. Ask Jess may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or to the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
